Big VELOX contact print from a 1930ies glass negative. Grandmother’s resignation, juvenile gratitude and childlike unconcern, all of this banned in front of a rusty iron fence stuck into a crumbling concrete mount. Could be located in Interbellum Vienna. Respect goes out to this photographer.
This 1982 Kodak colour slide is one of my favourite women’s portaits. I never saw a jay losing its shyness like this one. The trusted older woman seems to know that this is a rare pleasure. AND there was a camera nearby. Good luck, all of this.
Vintage silver bromide print showing an old spinning woman – no clue where and when. Should date back to 1925-1930 due to some certain markings on the photo paper.
This damaged albumen print from the WW1 period reminds us of old women’s might. Not hard to tell who is the commander here.
