thin glossy paper, ~1945-1950

Large black and white print on unlabeled thin glossy paper. Rubber stamps, a desk diary, documents and a pack of filterless Camels are spread all over the office desk as these seven colleagues are taking a nip. Smoking is granted. Nice focus, good light balance.  Must have been a good photographer.

Silver gelatine contact print, CZ, ~ 1920

Vintage silver gelatine contact print from former Czechoslovakia, showing Antonín Walpoupka’s brush maker workshop (Kartáčník*) in some Czech town or village. Three women proudly pose next the store’s entrance which is decorated by the makings of master Waloupka – brushes of various types and sizes. Date of imaging maybe the early or the mid 1920ies.

What to express? ~ 1930
What to express? ~ 1930

Silver gelatine print showing a group of five girls in white stockings wearing crowns. Either they are carol singers or they are preparing a role play – whatever. Nice shot which shows typical legwear and women’s shoes from the late 1920ies and early 1930ies. Maybe interesting for fashion scientists.
